Why Titus 2?
For
over twenty years, I have been taking the “for life” message across the
country. More and more people identify themselves as being pro-life, yet cho ices of death continue to be made and defended. Why?
Heart-to-heart conversations with women have helped me understand that ungodly
ideas have influenced women to make harmful choices. The lies of Satan
have been powerful and our flesh is weak. Women (and men) have been
deeply wounded. Pain is often greatest when we feel separated from God
and burdened by a sin we label “too big” to be forgiven.
Titus 2 for Life is a ministry for Biblical
womanhood.
It is founded on Biblical truth -- male and female were both created by God, but
they were created at different times, in different ways, and for different
purposes (Genesis 2:7; 15; 20-23; 3:20)
It offers hope in Jesus Christ!
Jesus reaches down into
our lives to bring light into the darkness. He heals broken hearts and
removes
He fills the empty spaces and, like the Good Shepherd He is, leads His flock between safe boundaries on the path of life. Finally,
it offers a model for teaching, encouraging, and mentoring generations of
women. Titus 2:3-5 is that model.
Using God's Word, helping ourselves and other transform the culture.
